About

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.

I believe our voices are our most potent tools for change. It took years of introspection and courage for me to embrace my authentic self fully, which is the heartbeat of Missing Perspective. This blog was born from a deep desire to amplify voices and narratives that are often marginalized by mainstream media. My appreciation for America’s vibrant history and the ideals we aspire to live by fueled my initial motivation to write here. However, my journey has unfolded in unexpected ways, revealing important truths that demand our attention.

Between 2014 and 2019, I leveraged this platform to share my insights on politics, sports, and pop culture. I started with a right-leaning perspective, but over the past 11 years, I’ve transformed—moving from right to left and ultimately finding my way toward a higher calling. I know that might elicit some skepticism, but please listen closely.

In a world characterized by division, leaning toward a higher ideal signifies a commitment to humility, grace, and an open heart. I’ve come to understand that while I’m knowledgeable about many things, there are still many things that I do not know.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your presence here is invaluable.

P.S. Starting in 2018, I began writing grants for one small nonprofit at a time in the Central Texas area, which served as a perfect distraction from writing here. Through this effort, I have raised over $500,000 in grant funding for various nonprofits through my grant writing over the years. Sometimes, I am open to new opportunities, but at other times, I am not.
